Volunteers from six countries go to Chemuyil to do community labour
Posted by: dvillacis in Articles, Social BenefitsCANCUN, RIVIERA MAYA; AUGUST 2009.- A group of young volunteers native of Madagascar, Korea, Canada, France, Japan and Germany, sponsored by Vive Mexico C.A. and the UNESCO, made support activities to community in Chemuyil and knew the sustainable tourist recreation model, of natural park Xel-Ha, as part of activities of their visit in Quintana Roo.
Volunteers, whose are less than 25 years old, renovated the basketball court in Chemuyil and shared with children and young people from the community where Xel-Ha has worked on during several years in order to hold community development through different programs to enhance health, education, urban image, public services, and the responsible domestic waste management, as well as care of environment.
