Xel-Ha Blog

Xel-Ha is a natural park located on the Riviera Maya, to 76 miles from Cancun. It is the number one place to snorkel and to watch marine life as it is considered the largest aquarium in the world. That is why Xel-Ha is a place you must not forget to visit when you be here in the most important destiny in Mexico.

A Chacah tree is a species belonging to the Burseraceae Family. Mayans use its crust due to its healing properties to relieve and cure burns and rashes caused by the Chechen, as well as dysentery, fever, and the measles. Chacahs may reach a height of up to 30 m, and in Quintana Roo they are scattered all over the jungle. This species is often used as a living fence.

“Love and respect nature because it is perfect and you are part of it”, state beauty singer and actress Hiromi when she went to “Chacahs Garden”, in the natural park Xel-Ha, in order to add to the movement that promotes everyone plant a tree in every important moment of his/her life.

Even when consciousness of environmental caring has growth in the entire world, few people put in practice actions that restore vegetable life. To plant a tree in every important moment of your life contributes to achieve that purpose in a simple way since it can be transcendental if people add to this work.

CANCUN, RIVIERA MAYA; QUINTANA ROO; JULY 2009.- The natural park Xel-Ha welcomed one of the young actress of the moment; Ariadne Diaz who in company of her friends visited the eco touristic park and as many other celebrities put hands into visit the Chacah’s Garden and plant a tree.

Ariadne Díaz Cancun and Riviera Maya Holidays’ join to a lot of celebrities which have visited destiny in order to promote it and at the same time enjoy a wonderful time.

CANCUN, RIVIERA MAYA; QUINTANA ROO; JULIO 2009.- The popular TV star Danna García, who gives life to “La Monita” in the soap opera “Un Gancho al Corazon”, broadcasted by Televisa, swam with manatees in Xel-Ha, and received a huge kiss from “pompon” a male exemplar weighing over 500 kg.

After finishing shootings the popular soap opera, “La Monita”, enjoyed a holiday in Cancun and Riviera Maya with Lorena Enriquez, who played the role of Paula, Margarita Magaña who interpreted the role of Estrella Falcon; and Ricardo Margalef, who played Arnoldo during the soap opera.

In occasion of the Tree Day, and in what is already a tradition in Xel-Ha, a group of celebrities raised their voices for the care of the planet with a simple principle in mind: “Plant a tree in every important moment of your life”. The journalist Lolita Ayala, the actors Alfredo Adame, Alexis Ayala and Betty Monroe, as well as the professional wrestler “The saint’s son”, among others, were present.

The event took place in the Chacah’s Garden, where dozens of show business personalities as well as communicators, actors, musicians and sportsmen have planted little Chacah seedlings and left them in Xel-Ha’s Family custody for their safekeeping.
