While explaining that the right to equal opportunities between men and women is fundamental to sustainable development, Xel-Ha’s Executive Director, Elizabeth Lugo Monjaraz declared this company to be among the first acknowledged worldwide with the Gender Equity Certificate, granted by the National Women’s Institute, carrying with it the responsibility to work constantly to achieve this goal.

This event, within the context of the Human Capital congress organised by Uniglobal, which offers professional university certification services directed towards tourism industry professionals, academics, students, and the general public. Elizabeth Lugo was among the spokespersons to participate and share their professional experience on the Gender Equity subject. She was accompanied by business leaders and academics with relevant subjects such as Ethics in Service and World Quality Service.
